On May 18th all members of Copernica, NSGF Curaçao, celebrated with gratitude for the wonderful years behind and started its 40th Anniversary celebration with a Holy mass. Giving thanks to the Lord for so many great experiences throughout the years.

On May 19th 2025, the date Copernicia was founded, the morning started with music, a speech of the National President, Nydia Hato, and a brunch was served.

During this celebration Verna Lopez, our member from the beginning, who has also served as an ISGF World Committee member (2011 - 2017), was appointed as an honorary member of Copernicia.

Imelda Kroon, who came up with the name of our organization “Copernicia” and 3 other members, Sybil de los Santos, Frida Cardoze and Idis Doran who were also at the founding were honored as well. Also a very nice gesture was awarded to the members of 90 years and older.
