Since 2007 when the partnership of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship was signed, actions have been important, if not numerous: 1000 backpacks for 1000 children who had returned to Burundi after having been refugees in Tanzania, important gifts of toys for children in refugee camps, construction of houses for 50 families in the Imvepi camp in Uganda.

We have been partners of the UNHCR since 2007 and, even though ISGF currently does not have a specific activity, there is nothing not normal in giving news, even more when it is happy.

The South Sudanese Refugee project at the refugee camp Imvepi, Uganda, was launched on World Refugee Day (20th June 2017).  Up till now ISGF raised 23.324 euros and the balance is 1676 euros for the last 3 huts.

ISGF specific objective is to provide one thousand (1000) families in IMVEPI settlement Uganda with a shelter. Each gift in euro, whatever the amount is, is important.

Under the partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) ISGF proposes that the National Scout and Guide Fellowships (NSGFs) assist South Sudanese Refugees living in North West Uganda by providing them with emergency temporary shelters. 

On September 8, 2014 the Fellowship Toys, donated by the Scouts in Hertfordshire United Kingdom, arrived at the Azraq Refugee Camp in in Jordan.

The PAVEURS, the name of the Central Branch group in Suriname (bordered by French Guyana, Guyana and Brazil) donated their homemade stuffed Fellowship toys to several children's homes in Suriname.

A collection of 972 Toys by the Trefoil Guild and Girl Guiding of Northamptonshire together with a donation of 200 British Pound Sterling to help towards the transport costs was collected recently.

On Wednesday 2nd April a collection of Toys collected by Guides and Brownies, Cubs and Beavers in Shrewsbury were started on the journey to Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan.

These toys had been packed by UK Guild members and Rotarians from the Shrewsbury Darwin Rotary Club.
