Leny Doelman is now in Ecuador and represents ISGF at the 23rd Interamerican Scout Conference in Quito. There are delegations from 30 countries from North and South America and also from the Caribbean.
Quito lies on an elevation of 2850 meters and I had to adjust for such a height coming from The Netherlands that lies under the sea level.
The delegates are very interested in ISGF and the chairman of the Interamerican Region from the USA offered to register himself and other members in his family as ISGF member right after my speech.
The presentation about the Scout & Guide Spirit Flame will also be presented this week as being a project of general interest for Scouting, Guiding and Fellowship. They cannot believe we did it, but as you know ISGF deleted the IM of the word "IMPOSSIBLE".
