The third Africa Regional Gathering took place in Lusaka, Zambia from 24th – 28th August 2010. The opening ceremony was a lively event with a group of youngsters from the local Girl Guides.

Together with a dance and a drama group the ceremony was a momentous event. Mrs Lily Monze, (ex Deputy Minister of Finance and replacing the First Lady who wanted to open this event initially as she is the Patroness of Girl Guiding in Zambia), opened the gathering by cutting a huge cake.

This ceremony was fantastic and gave a warm welcome to the participants who  worked together that week in workshops.
