On 28 February 2018 the Maharashtra State Branch of the India Scout and Guide Fellowship supported a project in the Greater Mumbai tuberculosis hospital in Mumbai. A supply of ten thousand C 500 milligram tablets, provided by the Indian Fellowship, were donated.
Since May 2017 they provide a so-called nutrition therapy to a group of 30 critical patients with tuberculosis. The patients, most in need, who are poor and drug resistant, receive vitamin C with other nutrients like vitamin E, A, D and calcium and enriched protein powder.
