We are happy to announce that the ISGF website has been migrated to the newest version of Joomla and went live on 11 March 2015. The bilingual website (English and French) was still since 8 June 2008 running under an old version of Joomla and not secure anymore.
We have done our utmost to make it as simple as possible for you to surf on the website.
We did not forget to make it more attractive to look at the pictures and the articles and to store documents in the right place where they belong. The release of a new Joomla gives us more possibilities.
The entire process of migrating took some time but we had to take huge steps to migrate the website from an old version to this version in which many changes had to be done manually.
Created with the user experience firmly in mind, the website has been designed using the latest technology so the site is compatible with today's browsers and mobile.
The launch of the “new” website, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on ISGF, is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to members worldwide and part of the ISGF Action Plan 2014-2017.
The website offers many special features: a database of numerous publications (English and French), photo galleries from ISGF events, an event calendar.
Adding a shopping cart will be the next challenge. The website’s user-friendly nature provides users with more efficient access to the organization’s resources.
Please visit the new website more regularly and why not give us your feedback on the new website by posting a comment.
We invite you to keep sending news from your NSGF or CB together with attractive lively pictures to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Congratulation and thank you, Leny and webmaster.
Reciban todos un fraternal saludo de amistad.
I have been surfing around a bit, but not everywhere. It seems very easily navigable.
One Q: by surfing through "other events" - would it be possible to hav the year at the top - next to "written by" as not all contgributions have the year in their headings?
Regards, Anne
