Celebrate_FD_FranceDear friends,

Our Fellowship Day of the 25th October will come soon; the Local Scout and Guide Fellowship of the Paris region celebrated it a bit earlier.

All the participants, in the name of all the members of the National Scout and Guide Fellowship living in France, join their President to send you, in this occasion, all their best greetings.

How beautiful is the idea of that day!

It gives to us all the opportunity to meet, to exchange, to share, to apply together the principles and the values cherished by BP and to discover or re-discover the meaning of the words Peace, Fraternity and Friendship.

Can we give a better example?

Than the one we give, on this occasion, to the young generations, who thus realize that we have a common History, that we have enriching experiences and that our commitment is real.

Of several generations gathered, all over the world, during one day, during one action, during one meeting, to realize all together actions to help others, to launch new projects and also, of course, to laugh and to sing… ISGF IS Great Fun !

Dear friends all over the world, brothers and sisters in Scouting and Guiding

In France, the National Scout and Guide Fellowship is called Fédération des Anciens et Adultes du Scoutisme français (FAAS = Federation of Elders and Adults of French Scouting); it brings together former scouts and guides of France, "laiques" scouts and girl scouts of France, protestant scouts and girls scouts of France, Jewish scouts and girl scouts of France, Muslim scouts of France, girl scouts of the French federation of girl scouts.

The NSGF of France sends you, thanks to the miracle of Internet, their fraternal and friendly greetings on the occasion of the Fellowship day which is held, today in Paris, and which gathered us around a universal project of solidarity. Give toys to very seriously ill children, communicate with the world, look for twinning, speak of the centenary of 2 of our associations (Éclaireuses et Eclaireurs de France/Association des Anciens Eclaireuses et Eclaireurs de France - open association) and Eclaireuses et Eclaireurs Unionistes de France/Tisons) - protestant association), celebrate the centenary of Guiding and Girl Scouting, support young scouts, guides and girl scouts to realize projects, look at a film on the Jamboree of Sweden - such is the programme proposed to the participants.

Dear friends all over the world, brothers and sisters in Scouting and Guiding

Let us be proud of what we are, of what we have learnt, of what we have to convey to the future generations. Handing down is a key word which suits us very well and which gives us a good position in the Scout and Guide galaxy.

All together, hand in hand, let us act for a better world.

Daniel Robinsohn

President of FAAS
