The 1st Western Hemisphere (WH) Conference took place in Paramaribo, Suriname from 3 till 7 September 2016. The place of the meeting was in hotel Torarica, a neighboring hotel, close to the Eco Resort Inn where most of the participants were accommodated. 90 members from 10 countries: Aruba, Brazil, Chile, Curacao, Haiti, Netherlands, Spain, Suriname, Uruguay and USA were present and they had a great time.
The Organizing Committee of the 1st ISGF Western Hemisphere Conference is ready and waiting for us.
In less than 10 weeks’ time, more than 88 ISGF members from 10 (ten) countries will be arriving in Paramaribo, Suriname to participate in the Western Hemisphere Conference (3 - 7 September 2016).
The Conference registration deadline has been extended until 31 May 2016. If you have not yet registered, now is the time. The 1st Western Hemisphere Conference will be held September 3 – 7, 2016 in Paramaribo, Suriname.

When and where: The 1st ISGF Western Hemisphere Regional Conference will be held in Paramaribo, Suriname from 3 – 7 September 2016. The Central Branch group “Paveurs” from Suriname is the host and they are pulling out all the stops to make this event an unforgettable one.
The 2nd Caribbean Gathering was held in Willemstad, Curacao from 11 – 15 September 2013 and ended with a swinging carnival party. A total of 131 participants from 9 countries from Aruba, Chile, Curacao, Haiti, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Suriname and USA.
The 2nd Caribbean Gathering will take place on Curacao from 11 – 15 September 2013. A team of the Fellowship of Curacao “Copernicia” has finalized all necessary arrangements in order to host the 145 participants from 9 countries (Aruba, Chile, Curacao, Haiti, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Suriname and USA (Casegha).
After the success of the 1st Caribbean Gathering in Curacao in 2010 the National Scout and Guide Fellowship of this island “Copernicia” takes the lead again and will also organize the 2nd Caribbean Gathering.
The event will take place from 11 September 2013 until breakfast 15 September 2013 in hotel Trupial Inn within walking distance of shopping centres and only 20 minutes from Curacao International Airport (Hato Airport). Curacao is an island in the southern Caribbean Sea, off the Venezuelan coast.
About 100 participants from six countries: Aruba, Australia, Belgium, Curaçao, the Netherlands and Suriname gathered in hotel Pelikaan in Willemstad, Curaçao for the 1st Caribbean gathering with the suitable theme: “Reach out to join the Caribbean".
Upon arrival at the airport the friendly welcome by the organization made you comfortable. The well-balanced program over 3 days and 4 evenings (8 – 11 September 2010) was very comprehensive but time management and the professional handling of the agenda was in the good hands of the National Scout and Guide Fellowship “Copernicia”, Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles.
