The workshop for National Presidents, International Secretaries and their delegates was held from 14 – 18 April 2010 in Lübbenau, a town about 82 km southeast of Berlin, Germany.
The main theme for the workshop was “The Skills for the Future”. The workshop gave us a great opportunity to meet and interact with intelligent people on a topic that everyone was interested in (including members of ISGF World Committee). Some countries had brought photos, booklets and folders to introduce their National Scout and Guide Fellowship. The workshop including such material was effective to give new perspectives and ideas and approaches to work on, back home.
The Sub Region Central Europe are hosting a third European Workshop to be held in Germany 14 –18th April 2010
In addition to the National President and International Secretary or their deputies each country may send two other members to the workshop. Everyone who attends the workshop must be responsible for their own accommodation costs and travel to the venue.
14-17 November 2008
The Future and The Foundation for Growth workshop
There are a few vacancies so why not come and join the National Presidents and International Secretaries at this workshop.
The main language will be English but there will be translation into French and German.
The host country for the workshop was Cyprus and the Guild members did an excellent job providing hospitality and friendship for all participants from the welcome at the airport until departure. There was an opportunity to enjoy the Cypriot countryside and history and tavernas while visiting some of the local landmarks.
At the European Committee Meeting held in November it was decided to hold a workshop for National Presidents and International Secretaries during 2008.
The first workshop will be held in Cyprus at Agia Napa near to Larnaca from 18th to 21st April 2008.
