Europe Region organizes 6th Workshop

Sailing European Conference great success

The 8th Europe Conference took partly place in the conference centre of Stockholm, Sweden and also onboard the ferry Mariella sailing between Stockholm and Helsinki, Finland, September 4 -8 2013

178 members from 21 countries were present and they had a great time.

Snow Surprised Participants European Workshop

2013 Working session 2The Europe Committee organized the 5th workshop in Wandlitzsee, Germany, north of Berlin for members of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship in Europe. It was the first time for some participants that they ever have seen snow. As requested by the 4th workshop held in Jambville, France, in 2012, this workshop was held to review the activities undertaken by the Europe Committee to examine regional needs and priorities.

Welcome to the 8th European Conference

2013 Europe ConferenceThe National Scout and Guide Fellowships (NSGFs) in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden offer an attractive Europe Conference from 5 – 8 September 2013.

This 8th Conference starts on Thursday 5th September at 11:00 and is quite different from other Conferences as the participants will travel by ferry M/S Mariella from Sweden to Finland and vice versa while attending the Conference.

4th Europe Workshop Jambville 4-8 June 2012

Better knowledge refreshed participants at the 4th Workshop Europe Region

Fourteen members from 11 different European countries attended the workshop in Jambville, France, about 50 kilometers northwest from Paris. The venue (chateau) dates back from the 17-18th centuries and has been the National Training Centre of Scouts and Guides of France since 1952 and is surrounded by a 50 ha park.Jambville_chateau
