The recent earthquake in Nepal made the National Scout and Guide Fellowship in Bangladesh conscious about having preparedness to face this natural and devastating crisis for minimizing loss of life and for running effective rescue operation.
Keeping that view in mind, the Executive Committee of NSGF, Bangladesh organized a program on 01 May 2015 to create awareness on “What to do and not to do during Earthquake and Rescue Operation” near the Parliament House. This House is situated in the centre of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and a renowned place for public voluntary program. The program was attended by 600 – 700 people. Three specialist speakers from the executive committee spoke on the main subject of earthquake emphasizing on countermeasure at various phases. Lectures continued for about one and a half hours.
