The “Asosiashon di Patfenderei di Adulto di Curaҫao – Copernicia -”, the NSGF of Curaçao in the Caribbean celebrated their 30th Anniversary on 19 May, 2015. A lot of invitees took part in this great day. Mrs. Lucille George-Wout, the governor of Curaçao with her husband and also former chairmen and members since Copernicia started in 1985, the founding year.
World fraternity in Scouting and Guiding is not an empty word. During these tragic hours that France lives, it is a particular comfort to read the numerous messages of support that were sent to the Fédération des associations d’adultes et d’anciens du Scoutisme français (FAAS) by its sister associations, members of the International Scout and Guide Fellowship.
Scouting improves young people and adults through education for brotherhood, peace, friendship among human beings. What happened in Paris on November 13, and that happens every day in other parts of the world, where children, women and men are killed and tortured by human barbarity, is the opposite of the teachings of Scouting.
On 4th October 2015 it was the first time that all presidents from the 17 component associations of Amistad Internacional Scout y Guía Adultos AISG España gathered together for their first meeting. The meeting was held in a new headquarters given to NSGF Spain by the Scout Association of Madrid in which they will be able to hold meetings, assemblies and activities.
During the 2015 celebration of Founder’s Day/Thinking Day three new members were officially admitted into the membership of Copernicia, the National Scout and Guide Fellowship of Curacao. A small ceremony took place.
A local Scout and Guide Fellowship in Vienna invite everybody to come to their 16th International St George’s celebration. They meet on Friday, 8 May 2015 at 18:30 hour at the Parish church St George at Kahlenbergerdorf Vienna.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides National headquarters has honoured and conferred Satish Khanna with the SILVER ELEPHANT award for services he rendered to Indian Scouts and Guides and to the Asia Pacific (AsPac) Region.
