The National Scout and Guide Fellowship of Libya organized a trip on 25 March 2017. They went to the ancient city of Ghadames which is located in the South West of Libya.
It is one of the oldest pre-Saharan cities and an outstanding example of a traditional settlement. The old part of the town, which is surrounded by a city wall, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
A total of 94 participants from 11 Local Fellowships met for 4 nights and 5 days in an effort to bring members together and re-recruit old members and to inforce the communication. This event was announced in the 2017 annual plan.
