Dear Friends,
Let’s go back some decades. It is the year 1953, October 25th, and the place is Lucerne in Switzerland. Gathered there are representatives from 18 countries that all have a passion for international scout/ guide activities and want to continue although they are adults.
This is the beginning of ISGF, the International Scout and Guide Fellowship.

Food materials and other utility relief items worth approx. USD 1500.00 have been distributed to the 200 flood affected families at a village near Sangli in the State of Maharashtra of Western India.
An international Camporee spans over a third of scouting history and it marked the 46th camp being hosted in Canada this time. The annual Camporee attracted 1,600 participants from Scouts Canada and BSA. The Loyalist Area (Canadian) Committee co-hosted with Longhouse Council BSA and they hold the camp on alternating years in the respective countries.
The WAGGGS Asia Pacific Region presented the Asia Pacific Region Appreciation Award during their 13th AsPac Regional Conference held from 12 – 18 August 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Members of NSGF-UK hold a Twinning meeting with NSGF Spain at Gilwell Park, London on Saturday 7th September 2019.
The Greater Mumbai India Scout and Guide Fellowship celebrated the 73rd Independence Day of India on August 15, 2019 by the scouts and guides and children of the Maratha High School and St. Vincent De’ Paul Schools (SVS). It was an exciting programme.
“Caring for those who live in the shadow of Alzheimer”. That was the slogan of a meeting in the Alzheimer Café, Paramaribo, Suriname. Together with the Alzheimer Foundation the Central Branch group PAVEURS from Suriname organized an event on June 29, 2019 for people with dementia, their partners, family members and friends.
The next ISGF World Conference will take place from Monday 17 August to Saturday 22 August 2020 in Madrid, Spain. The exact venue is hotel Meliá Avenida América very close to Madrid Barajas airport and with excellent connection to the city center by metro, bus and taxi.
On Tuesday, 8 October 2019 MASCI, the Italian Fellowship with some other European Fellowships and FOCSIV, will take the initiative to submit the enclosed appeal to the European Parliament in Brussels.
